In laboratory tests, catechins acted more effectively than vitamins C and E to stop the damage which caused by oxidation in cells and have other properties that prevent from diseases. Polyphenols are beneficial antioxidants which " invade " the human body and protect from simple diseases such as sore throat and the cold until more serious such as cancer, heart diseases.
