The doradilla is a kind of small fern and the leaves do not exceed 15cm in length. The leaves above are smooth but underneath have thick fur with blond hair. It grows in the mountains and hills, in shady places. The doradilla is diuretic and acts against cystitis and nephritis. The shoots can be used to combat the fluid retention of kidney stones and in the urinary bladder.
