The Linden tea is the cordate leaves of linden tree. The peel of linden is astringent and tonic. The decoction (odorless and slightly bitter) is used in rheumatisms and arthritis (dissolve uric acid), but also in cystitis, constipation, indigestion, occlusion of the spleen and liver. The infusion of the leaves is drunk a little bit, all day. The decoction of the leaves is made with dry white wine and has the reputation of dissolving the kidney stones and gets away migraines. The fruit of the linden trees are considered more "active" from the peel and leaves.
