Sesame is an annual plant without branches that can reach up to 2m. The most ancient evidence for the existence of this ancient plant is located in the Ember column (1500 BC.). At the beginning of the Christian era, sesame has been cultivated in Italy. Moreover, the habit to put sesame seeds on our bread came from the Sicilians. In cooking, sesame seeds are used mainly in the Middle and Far East.
