Description
The orris is a perennial plant with thick rootstock, wide leaves and its flowers are purple. The plant stems reach up to 1m height. It is used as an ornamental plant and in pharmaceutical and perfumery . It has many useful properties for humans. Orris is used as a laxative, emetic, diuretic and expectorant.
