Description
Hyoscyams is a plant which is a valuable but dangerous. In Greece, we find other species of the genus hyoscyamus but the black is known pharmaceutically. This plant lives one or two years. Its stem reaches a height of up to 60cm. We use the leaves and the seeds. In modern herbal medicine, the hyoscyamus is a good medicine against neuralgia, cough and whooping cough. Moreover, it is used as an anti-convulsant.
