    Description

Henna powder is a natural product. It comes from a bush or tree which grows up in warm and dry climates. The leaves gathered, dried out and transformed in powder. When this powder is mixed with something liquid, it is changed into paste and can colour the skin, the hair and the nails. The word henna comes from the arabic name of plant Lawsonia Inermis. In north India, in Pakistan and in Bangladesh is called Mehndi. Henna products a red- orange molecule with the name Lawsome which is found to plant's leaves and in higher quantity to stalks. It has the property to create bonds with proteins and by this way gives colour to skin, hair, nails and can be used as dye for woolen, silky and leather fabrics. The inclusiveness of plant's leaves depends on land and climatic changes (percentage from 1% up to 4%). When henna is mixed with acid liquid, can colour the skin, hair and nails as Lawsome reacts to keratin(hair's basic protein) and can create a red- brown colour.
