Description
Ginseng is a perennial plant with fleshy root, which shows very slow growth and belongs to family of Araliacea. Ginseng is found in almost the entire Northern Hemisphere, North America and East Asia (especially in Korea, North China and Siberia). The word ginseng derives from the Chinese word renshen that is translated as "human root" - probably because of the fact that it reminds the human foot.
