Jasmine is a Magnoliophyto plant from the family of oilseeds. There are about 300 species that are found in temperate and warm countries of the earth. It is usually evergreen and deciduous. The flowers are white in most species but also yellow, white-pink, pink, light blue and blue. It is an ornamental plant and is grown in pots and gardens. From jasmine, an essential oil is extracted and used in perfumery. Jasmine is a necessary component of almost all perfume.
