The stalk of flowers of cinnamon is cream colored, slightly hairy, 5-7 cm long. Each flower has very small diameter 3 mm with a pale yellow colour without a rather pleasant aroma. The calyx is bell-shaped, fluffy with 6 strongly pointy parts. Edge disappears. The cinnamon is a rich source of magnesium which is essential for maintaining bone density, for electrolyte balance and for many other biochemical processes. Also, it shows effects on the central nervous system and exhibits immunomodulating and antitumorous activity. Finally, it helps in reducing the pressure,the fever and fight the toothache.
