Speedwell is a plant of Magnoliopsida family. Its leaves are simple, its flowers are small with blue color and in some species purple, white or pink. Most of the species of speedwell are grown as ornamental plants, but there are species that are eaten as a salad. Veronica is used for the relief from the congestion of the liver and inflammation of the gallbladder.
